Vahnn is a lifelong resident of Lindsay and a product of Lindsay Unified School District, as is his wife of 43 years, Lori as well as their four children. Vahnn has owned and operated Vahnn Blue Construction, a General Building Contractor, since 1983.
Vahnn has also served on the Lindsay Unified School District Board of Trustees since 1998. Vahnn has a passion for Community Service, which he has been able to feed by serving 4 years on the City of Lindsay City Council, holding positions including Vice Mayor and Mayor. Vahnn has served on many community boards, including the Lindsay Chamber of Commerce, Lindsay Community Theatre, and Tulare County Organization for Vocational Education. Vahnn believes in encouraging Learners to pursue an avenue of Education that best fits their needs and wants, whether it is University, Trade Schools, Work Experience, Entrepreneurship, or other means.
